Welcome to the Frankfurt City Museum!
Special times require special measures.

Visiting the museum is possible under German 2G-Plus regulations. Visitors need to provide proof of vaccination or recovery in connection with an official identification document, as well as a negative COVID-19 viral test (antigen/lateral flow or PCR test, no self test) taken on the day they visit. Visitors who have had the booster shot are exempt from testing. This applies both to visiting the museum as well as participation in guided tours and events on the museum premises.
School children need proof under German 3G-regulations (vaccinated/recovered/tested) to visit or participate in guided tours or workshops (German school test booklet is sufficient or a viral test).

We are looking forward to welcome visitors! The exhibition area is large enough so that visitors can buy a ticket directly on site at the ticket office. Faster and more convenient, of course, is a ticket purchase in our online store for a preferred date and from a time of admission. Book your online ticket for your visit directly in our online store!

Visiting the museum is only possible with a medical mouth-nose mask (FFP2, KN 95 (without valve), surgical mask, type I, II and IIR).

Under normal circumstances, we welcome direct contact between visitors. Unfortunately, we have to avoid this at Corona times. Therefore, there is a wayfinding system in all exhibitions and staircases that works via markings on the floor.

In all exhibitions, some media stations are set up in such a way that they do not have to be operated by touch. There are other stations that only work by touch, these are regularly disinfected by our supervisors and public attendants. All hands-on stations at Family Trails are usable.

We lend out our multimedia devices. However, you can still use our highlight tour via your smartphone, which you can find here.
For questions and answers, public attendants and our supervisors are available on each floor.

The museum café on level 0 is also open for you again; no negative test is necessary to visit the terrace area, for the indoor area you have to prove it to the staff on site.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our museum even in Corona times!
